The tranquil waters of the lagoon provide an excellent backdrop to your visit to the West Coast National park, with over 360 species of birdlife being protected within the reserve, whale watching from Tsaarsbank and swimming in Kraal baai. The reserve is also home ot an informative information centre where you can learn more about the footprints of mankind and the areas history. This is an unforgetable outing, pack a picnic and make a day of it.

A short drive from Langebaan and off the R27 is the Buffalo Park with Buffalo, Lion, Giraffe, Zebra and many other fauna and flora species.

Wine Estates and the popular Swartland wine route with there rugged mountains and contrasting colours are within easy reach and make for the perfect day trip.
